A fun mother–daughter workshop about puberty, periods & growing up.
Designed for girls aged 9–13 and their mums, First Moon Circles help girls learn about their changing bodies in a relaxed, positive and age-appropriate way.
The workshop is split into two parts:
Part 1: A girls-only session covering puberty, periods, body changes, self-care and the menstrual cycle
Part 2: Mums join for a shared mother–daughter experience and craft activity
Your child will learn:
What periods are and what happens during the whole menstrual cycle.
The signs and clues that their period may start soon.
Period care and product options - play and familiarity with many products, so when she needs to choose and use a product, she’s done it before.
An overview of menstrual cycle self-care, so she can nurture herself and understand how her energy can change throughout her cycle.
Any (and all) awkward, embarrassing, curious questions they may have.
Each Participant will receive:
A take home gift bag -including a cute little zip bag ‘Moon Kit’ with period products inside to keep in her school bag (just in case).
A 22 page keepsake guidebook full of wisdom and knowledge, which will support her through puberty written by Cycle Coach and First Moon Circle Founder Charlotte Pointeaux
Plus her own hand-beaded bracelet to remind her of the magic of her cycle and this special day.

More event information:
Location: Held in a beautiful private space on 3 acres in North Warrandyte, Victoria. The circle takes place in a seperate area of the home with its own entrance and bathroom. Exact address will be provided after booking.
Run of the day:
First 2 hours 1:30-3:30pm Girls only: Ice breakers, period & puberty overview, product play, period care, Q&A
Final hour 3:30-4:30pm Mothers join us: Craft bracelet making, cycle self-care, letter reading to our daughters, closing circle and goodbyes.

Cancellations: Due to limited spaces, cancelations made within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable. Tickets may be transferred to another event where possible. If the space can be filled, a refund may be offered. Please contact Stacey with any questions. Stacey will try her best to accommodate.
