This is a beautiful, empowering alternative to traditional period education featuring craft, conversations and a special mother-daughter celebration.
Your daughter will love this playful and magical experience where she can learn all about how she can look after herself as she grows up.
Covering self-care, and teaching her how to get the best out of her superpowers as she begins her cycle. First Moon Circles are a fun and enjoyable way for girls to learn, play, and feel supported at a pivotal time in their lives.
Your child will learn:
What periods are and what happens during the whole menstrual cycle.
The signs and clues that their period may start soon.
Period care and product options - play and familiarity with many products, so when she needs to choose and use a product, she’s done it before.
An overview of menstrual cycle self-care, so she can nurture herself and understand how her energy can change throughout her cycle.
Any (and all) awkward, embarrassing, curious questions they may have.
Each Participant will receive:
A celebration afternoon tea.
A take home gift bag - full of self-care items and period products.
A 22 page keepsake guidebook full of wisdom and knowledge, which will support her through puberty written by Cycle Coach and First Moon Circle Founder Charlotte Pointeaux
Plus her own hand-beaded bracelet to remind her of the magic of her cycle and this special day.

Who are these circles suitable for?
A First Moon Circle is perfect for girls aged 9-12. Whether she has started her period in the last 1-2 years, hasn’t bled yet or if any of her friends have - this is the perfect opportunity for girls to feel proud, gain knowledge, and become empowered.

Location: Allwood Neighbourhood House, 901 Main Road Hurstbridge VIC 3099 (Main entry and parking via Arthurs Creek Road)
Run of the day:
1-3pm Children only: Ice breaking, storytelling, period & puberty overview, period care, Q&A, and a nourishing break.
3-4pm Mothers & Carers join us: Celebration tea, bonding, sharing, cycle care, craft activity, closing circle and goodbyes.
NOTE: A follow-up email will be sent to you within 48 hours of booking to help you and your child prepare for the circle. If you have any questions prior to booking, please don’t hesitate to Contact us
Cancellations:
We understand that life happens! If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible:
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the event will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event will be refunded minus a $25 booking fee to cover venue hire and preparation costs.
No-shows or same-day cancellations are not refundable.
